Adding Multiple Authenticators for a Single Account

It is possible to have more than one phone "approve" MFA requests, and this guide will show you how to accomplish this. Having multiple authenticators is useful for accounts like "Reception" or "Admin" where more than one person should be allowed to log in. Only one device needs to approve the sign in.

Note: This guide assumes that you already have at least one authentication phone set up. If not, you'll need to follow this guide.

1. Sign in to Office365

  1. Click this link to visit the sign-in page for Office 365: https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
  2. Sign in with the email address that multiple people will be sharing. The email password should be the same as the Cloud password

Once you log in, you'll be presented with the option to "Add sign-in method".

2. Add a new device

Choose "+ Add method" and select "Authenticator app" when given the option.

3. Follow the on-screen prompts
