Configuring Teamviewer permissions on my Mac

macOS requires a couple of additional security steps before an IT Technician can remote up to your computer to assist you.

After you finish the installation of the program, it may guide you to "Allow Access" to certain components of your computer. If you can click those and grant yourself access - Great! - however if you don't see that screen, or are running a slightly older version of macOS, please follow the below steps

Visit "System Preferences"

Locate "Security & Privacy"

Unlock your settings in order to make changes - you will need to provide your computer password

Select the "Privacy" tab at the top, then select "Screen Recording" from the side panel

Tick "TeamViewer QuickSupport"

Select "Accessibility" from the side panel, then tick "TeamViewer QuickSupport"
