Setup Zero Trust Agent on my Mac Computer

This guide will assist you set up the Zero Trust Agent on your Apple Mac computer. This agent will certify your device and network as "trusted".

1. Download the App

1.3 Download the App

Your browser may classify the file as "Unverified", and block it from downloading. In this case, we advise you to follow the below steps to continue downloading it anyway. You should continue to exercise caution when you see this prompt in the future.

1.4 Work through the Installer

Your Mac will ask for your admin password at this point. This will be your own personal computer logon password; ProgressIT will not know this.

2. Configure the App

2.1 Accept the Privacy statement

A little popup will appear at the top right of your screen. Continue with the following actions.

2.2 Join your "team"

Progress IT will provide your organization with a "team name". This will associate your device with your company as a trusted device. If you do not know this team name, check with your management, or Progress IT.

TAKE A COPY OF YOUR TEAM CODE NOW BEFORE YOU CONTINUE WITH THE NEXT PART OF THE GUIDE

  1. Click on the settings cog at the top right of the application
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. Change to the Accounts tab
  4. Click on Login to Cloudflare Zero Trust
  5. Enter your team name as provided by Progress IT
  6. Click Done
  7. Click Next to continue to your Team's specific privacy statement
  8. Accept the agreement

2.3 Sign in with your Credentials

A browser window will open and direct you to sign in with Azure AD

  1. Click on Azure AD
  2. Sign in with your work username and password
  3. After successfully signing in, you will be prompted with a dialogue box. Open CloudFlare Warp to complete the process

3. Turn on the app, and confirm that everything is working correctly

Toggle the Zero Trust app from Disconnected -> Connected and confirm that there are no errors.
